Laminate Flooring Installation in Newcastle
Project Overview
Handyman MultiFix completed this laminate flooring project in a small entrance area in Newcastle. The existing floor and unfinished edges made the entrance look tired, so the aim was to create a cleaner, warmer and more finished appearance.
Before the Installation
Before work began, the entrance area had old flooring, visible marks and unfinished edges around the doorway. Although it was a relatively small space, its position at the entrance meant that improving the flooring could make a noticeable difference to the overall appearance of the area.
Floor Preparation
The old flooring was removed and the area was prepared for the new laminate. Careful preparation was important to achieve a neat finish and ensure the new flooring fitted properly within the existing entrance area.
Installing the Laminate Flooring
The new laminate flooring was fitted across the prepared area, with particular attention given to the edges and the transition around the doorway.
Trims and Finishing Details
The edges, trims and connections with the doorway and existing surrounding surfaces were carefully finished to give the installation a clean and complete appearance.
Completed Laminate Flooring
The new flooring transformed the small entrance into a cleaner and more practical space. The laminate provides a neat finish while helping the entrance feel warmer and more complete.
