Chicken Coop Build in NE20

This chicken coop build in NE20 was a practical outdoor timber project completed by Handyman MultiFix. The aim was to turn an open part of the site into a useful, defined enclosure. We used a timber framework, mesh panels and practical access sections. We completed the work in stages, from the initial layout through to the finished structure.

Preparing the Outdoor Area

We started by looking at the available space and setting out the enclosure. This gave us a clear footprint for the timber base and supporting posts. It also helped the new structure fit naturally into the existing outdoor setting.

Setting Out the Timber Base

Next, we formed the timber base and positioned the upright posts. This established the shape of the enclosure and gave us a clear starting point for the main framework. The progress photos show the project changing from an open area into a recognisable structure.

Building the Timber and Mesh Structure

We then continued the chicken coop build by assembling the timber framework and fitting the mesh sections. We also added practical access areas. As the work progressed, the separate sections came together to create one usable outdoor enclosure.

This type of outdoor project sits alongside our builder work and small construction services for Newcastle and surrounding areas.

Finally, the finished structure created a clearly defined enclosure within the rural setting. The photos document the real progression of the job. They show the original space, the timber construction stages and the completed project.

Projects like this depend on the available space and the type of structure required. If you have a small outdoor construction or timber project in Newcastle or the surrounding area, send Handyman MultiFix a few photos and details of what you would like to build.
